Procedure- How to Create Viva Community

Viva Engage - Helpdesk Scope of Support
Helpdesk's support is to create the Viva Community based upon request from user. HD agent who will create the community, needs to activate the PIM role "Yammer Administrator"
Viva Community is platform called Engage, a module within the Microsoft Viva suite that integrates social networking and employee engagement directly into Microsoft Teams. It allows users to create and participate in communities—groups centered around shared interests, departments, projects, or initiatives.
Viva Community is accessible via Viva Engage - Discover communities
Note: - These are the default settings to set while creating the Viva Community
- Sensitivity - Internal Project
- Default Publisher - Discussion
- Allow all network users to move conversations into this - Disabled
Prerequisites
- Helpdesk should activate PIM role "Yammer Administrator"
Step-by-Step Procedure
- Log in to Viva Engage https://engage.cloud.microsoft/main/feed?domainRedirect=true
- Enter your work credentials to sign in.
- Navigate to Communities

- Create New community using below button & fill all entries

- Fill all the details with the information provided by the requester
- Once community is created, Make mentioned Owners as Admin
- Then remove yourself (HD Agent who will create community from Admin and member)
