Procedure: SSO Configuration Request
Overview:
Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) is a tool which allows for a single authentication mechanism to be reused with external applications, so a user only need sign in once to access multiple, independent resources.

Instructions for the request creation:
1. Enter the name of the application with which SSO will be used. For example, Oracle (Alithya Hub), FreshService (IT Portal), etc.
2. Enter the business justification for this SSO application. Security and the Internal IT departments need to know why this SSO app is being requested, so please provide a very specific and detailed reason for this request.
3. Select whether or not the vendor will provide the configuration needed in Azure. And if so, please attach the instructions.
4. List the name or names of the application administrator contact. This will be the person or people who will either configure SSO in the application (not Azure), or will contact the provider who will create the configuration on the application side.
5. Select the target audience that should be included in this SSO app. It can be all Alithya employees, an existing group or a new custom group. Smaller groups may be advisable when licensing costs are of concern. If selecting an existing group, please enter the group name or email address. For a new group, select Distribution List under Additional Items.
